Hand-forged solid steel tools, made by a native Texas blacksmith!

Honestly folks,  these tools are not mass produced but are individually made by myself at the forge,  hammer,  and anvil.   Each is the result of many hours of cooking and thinking about what would be the best way to accomplish the task at hand.    You can't find this kind of work and attention to function anywhere else.    I've tried!    Get 'em while I'm working cheap.    I can't keep the prices this low much longer.    Click on any picture for more details...

You won't find anything like these tools at the mall or the restaurant supply store.   I've submitted patent documents for several of them.

The forge is currently closed.    Please do not order any tools.    I will not be making any new tools until further notice.

Update:  Due to Hurricane Ike,  I had to completely disassemble the forge area in preparation,  and clean up for 2 months afterward.    Although the eye of the hurricane passed directly over my shop,  everything survived thanks to the Lord.     I am putting the forge back together but running behind on orders this year.    Please be patient.

If you have ordered or requested tools in the past and I haven't received them yet,  don't despair.    Some orders just take longer to get completed.    You haven't been forgotten.    I have to get them right or I won't ship them.    I don't charge anyone until the tools are finished and ready to ship.

Please note that I use a "tin-type" coloring for my tool photos.     The normal color of beeswax finished tools is black,  which makes it hard to show the detail and workmanship in a photograph.     Baked vegetable oil finishes are a translucent brown just as in the pictures.

By the way,  I'm an engineer     I take my tools very seriously.    Blacksmithing is a passion and a way to get my ideas out where they can be used by the best.    Barbeque,  on the other hand,  is just plain fun!
