RANCH RINGERS
|
|

|
|
These ringers
are massive, almost 2 feet on a side and made of 1 inch SOLID round steel stock,
not pipe. The classic Western bell sounds a beautiful and LOUD
dinnertime peal. The striker is made from solid 5/8 inch round bar
stock. As big and beautiful as any you've ever seen. Faithful
reproduction of the best of the best. Absolutely no
corners cut here. The neighbors salivate when I test them
out. Comes with a leather hanger that is not shown.
Beeswax finish $87. Stripped and hand-rubbed paste wax finish: $110.
I have to open
both ends of the forge to get the 5 foot piece of steel in to bend
each corner. Takes at least 20 minutes of heat to get each corner
hot enough to bend properly. Sure, I can make a bigger one but I'm
not looking forward to it.
Suitable for a
concert orchestra, should anyone ever write music for it. I'd be
glad to tune one to a particular pitch with my geetar tuner.

A smaller
version, made from 3/4 inch bar stock and 15 inches on a side with beeswax finish is available for
$49. The striker is made from 1/2 inch stock.
Still very loud and professional. Much better than one of those tourist trap 3/8
inch stock triangles. It's the kind you can take to contests, hang in a bar, or use in your restaurant.

PORTABLE HOLES
|
|

|
They are called
portable holes because they provide an easy and quick way to erect things that
normally have to be poked into a hole in the ground. These handy
items are great for flag and banner poles, tiki torches, umbrellas,
or keeping your pokers
handy at the pit. You just stick the pointy end a foot or so in the
ground with your foot or a hammer and slide whatever you want in the loops.
I've used the 1/2 inch stock portable holes for mounting flags and banners on 12 foot by 1-1/2
inch diameter poles. The smaller holes are perfect for tiki torches
and flag poles up to 8 feet. Beeswax finish. Click on the
picture for details and examples of use. $15 for 3/8
inch bar stock, $25 for 1/2 inch bar stock.

LANTERN
AND BBQ TOOL HANGERS
|
|

|
Several sizes
are available from 3 foot high 3/8 bar stock to 7 foot high 1/2 inch bar
stock. The loop at the top is designed to help counterbalance the
weight of the lantern and keep it from extending too far beyond the center
pole. The short ones are good for hanging cooking tools,
towels, aprons, radios, canteens, and other such stuff as well as
lanterns. I can make a multi-pronged one for your BBQ tools if
you like. Beeswax finish. 3-5 foot 3/8 inch stock
hangers are $34, 5-7 foot 1/2 inch stock hangers are $68.
I can make any of my tools in any length and with any style tine or loop
without extra charge for custom specifications. Each piece is
already a custom work of art. Prices are based on how long it takes
me to make each one. Call or email me with your specifications.
Dimensions of the tools are approximate, since each one is hand
made. There will be some variations in the style and
shape and there will be hammer marks, making each piece unique.
