TEXAS-BARBEQUE - GENUINE SLOW SMOKIN'

I'm collecting information on Genuine Texas Barbeque for my new book, which I hope to have completed within the next few years.

Of particular interest are gents and ladies who have won at BBQ cook-offs, make a living at BBQ in Texas, have family recipes, or regularly BBQ for a specific family, group, town, or county in Texas.    Any information is welcome.    You will receive full credit for any information that is included.

Qualified submitters will receive a copy of the book and all of the free publicity the book can generate.    Not a small payback if yer good!

I'm not expecting you to tell me your deepest, darkest secrets but if you do, you will be the one who is famous for them.

I've spent years researching the fine art of Texas BBQ and I need your input to finish the project.     I'm a successful Pit Master myself and I'm planning to publish all of my own techniques in the book.

All submissions will receive serious consideration, and I'll try to visit your next BBQ or your restaurant for pictures and personal experience.    Dedicated participants will likely get star billing.

I'm not a critic, just a Texas BBQ lover.    Any inclusion in the book will be in the form of a profile of you and your bbqin' techniques.    You may review your information before the book is published.

Please phone or email me if you are interested in an interview for inclusion in the book    Don't wait around.    Don't be left out.    I'm very interested in your story.

Yes,  the book is still being developed.    If you've called, be patient and I'll get to you as soon as possible.

We don't enter contests unless they are for charity, where no prizes are awarded.    We will not compete against anyone who is included in the book without their permission.   We have won first place in every contest we've entered!
